AOL Users:

If you are an America Online member, you might be missing the newest snow closing information. AOL caches (copies) webpages once every day and doesn't check for updates until 24 hours have passed. This means AOL sometimes shows you an old version of a page even after the webmaster has updated it.

To solve this problem, when visiting the snow closings page, hold down your Control key while you click the Refresh button at the top of your AOL screen. This should force the new version of the page to load.

Better yet, stop using the AOL browser. You can use other browsers even while you are on America Online. Just sign onto AOL, then fire up Internet Explorer, Netscape, or some other browser. You'll be surprised at what a difference it makes.
