Account Executive

Cumulus Broadcasting of Poughkeepsie seeks an Account Executive to sell advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients. Must be a self-starter, possess strong communication skills, and be motivated to succeed. Responsibilities include prospecting, setting appointments, presenting unique ideas and achieving monthly sales goals. Applicants should be enthusiastic, creative, disciplined and dynamic, with strong selling skills. Media sales backgrounds are preferred, not required. Internships

Cumulus Broadcasting of Poughkeepsie is looking for highly motivated individuals to participate in our  internship program.  Participants work for all Poughkeepsie stations (including alternative rock, adult contemporary, rock, oldies and country formats) and are supervised by the Promotions Department.  Interns have a major impact on the success of our direct marketing and point-of-influence programs, giving participants an education in the world of  radio and an overview of effective station marketing.  Not only does this experience look great on a resume or college application, our interns truly have fun while receiving valuable, professional advice that will positively impact their budding careers.   The Cumulus Broadcasting of Poughkeepsie program gives participants a chance to directly effect the success of the company they represent.
